What type of honey do you sell?

We are often asked what kind of honey we sell.

The simplest answer is that we sell 100% local Honey made by our own bees, that collect the nectar that is available to them in their immediate area.

To the lay person a flower represents a pretty image and perhaps a nice smell; to a Honey bee a flower represents a time in which a plant is releasing (for a short period) a fountain of a wet delicious substance called nectar.

At the Findlay Creek Apiary we have ensured that our Honey bees have an abundant variety of native flowers and blossoms to collect nectar from. Over decades and generations of farming we have curated and cultivated selections of local wildflowers that blossom and flower at various times throughout our spring, summer and fall months. This gives our bees not only the best most flavors nectars to make their honey from, but also an abundance of nectar flows throughout the season

The very best tasting local nectars are in our honey.
